How can I determine my out of pocket expense?
If you plan on financing your balance through a PLUS or Private Loan, you do not have an out of pocket expense.
If you plan on financing your balance through a payment plan, please review payment options at http://studentabc.rutgers.edu/payment_options/rutpp.php
Take into account:
 FWS will not show as a credit in your term bill
 Loan origination fees are deducted from the gross loan amount. For more information on Direct Stafford loan fees click here (Loan fees link). For private loan fees, contact your lender.

Which department should I contact?
Can I get a list of all the federal loans I have taken out through Rutgers?
Yes. Visit http://www.nslds.ed.gov to obtain up-to-date information about your loan balances and disbursements. Log into the National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS), with your name, social security number, date of birth and federal PIN (the same PIN used to sign your FAFSA). Parents wishing to obtain information on PLUS loans can follow the same procedure using their own login credentials.
